Role Overview
The Finance Director - UK will be a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Global CFO. You will be responsible for leading the financial strategy, governance, and transformation agenda for the UK business, ensuring the integration of newly acquired entities and driving financial efficiency across a multi-entity, multicurrency landscape.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A, financial consolidation, and systems transformation, combined with experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee the full financial management of the UK entity, ensuring compliance with group policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's aggressive growth plans, including both organic and inorganic expansion.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration processes for 3+ acquisitions per year.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth post-acquisition integration, including aligning systems, processes, and reporting structures.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with acquisitions and ensure seamless integration of financial controls.
Systems Transformation & Process Improvement
- Spearhead finance systems transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Evaluate and implement new financial systems and processes to support the company's growth and ensure compliance with evolving business requirements.
- Drive automation and standardisation across financial operations to improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.
Group Reporting & Consolidation
- Oversee group financial consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of multi-entity, multicurrency results.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP standards, while maintaining strong internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with the global finance team to harmonise financial reporting and processes across entities.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the UK entity, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- Provide detailed analysis and insights on financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Develop KPIs and financial models to monitor performance and support strategic initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or equivalent in a multi-entity, multicurrency environment.
- Strong M&A experience, including financial due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition performance management.
- Expertise in financial consolidation and group reporting, ideally within an international context.
- Hands-on experience leading finance transformation initiatives, including systems implementation and process optimisation.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving commercial value.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the IT services, technology, or consulting sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and experience with system implementations.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Working alongside the Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the growing usage and success of Salesforce, as well as IT systems more broadly. As part of your role, you'll also be expected to provide desktop support and ensure that committee meetings run smoothly with the latest audio and visual software. Managing Salesforce is the core element to the role and you'll have the opportunity to get involved in integration and AI projects (amongst other things), as well as day-to-day support.
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to have:
- 2+ years Salesforce experience in a commercial environment
- Provided IT support across other tools (Office 365, meeting software etc)
- The ability to engage with stakeholders, senior management and external partners/suppliers
- A solution driven mindset - able to solve a variety of IT and technical problems
- Salesforce certifications (nice to have)
This role is based in Central London and the successful individual will be expected to work from their office 2/week (Tuesday's and Wednesday's), working remotely the rest of the week. They are paying up to £45k + great benefits including: 10% employer pension contribution, 30 days holiday (+ bank holidays) and private healthcare.
